Chapter History

The Gamma Omicron chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha at Central Michigan University was founded on May 19, 1951. Gamma Omicron continues its long tradition of sisterhood as ZTA's 88th link.

The Purpose of Zeta Tau Alpha

The purpose of Zeta Tau Alpha is to intensify friendship, promote happiness among its members, to perform such deeds, and to mold such opinions as will conduce to the building up of a purer and nobler womanhood in the world.

Our National symbols include the five pointed crown, strawberry, and white violet.

Our local symbol is the bunny, which can be found around our house!
